Asian style chicken burgers
Good for: high protein, low-carb, antioxidants
Chicken mince burgers are given an Asian style boost with the addition of coriander, chilli and garlic. These herbs don’t just add a lovely flavour, they are also great sources of antioxidants.
- 500 gm chicken mince
- 2 cloves garlic, crushed
- 2 tbs soya sauce
- 1/2 tbs oyster sauce
- 1 tsp fish sauce
- 1/2 red chilli, finely chopped
- 2 spring onions, finely chopped
- 1/2 bunch coriander, finely chopped
- 1 egg
Place mince a bowl, and then in a separate bowl, mix together remaining ingredients. With wet hands, form mince into 6 patties then place in fridge for 10 minutes. Cook for 7-8 minutes on each side over medium heat. Serve with almond satay sauce and salad.
